Wine & Dine Your boyfriend/girlfriend with an Amazing Filet Mignon Surf & Turf for Two Under $20

This meal is like the gold medal of food, and so, you're thinking, there’s no way in hell I could afford a restaurant meal like that. Why should we go without? We can make this ourselves out of our dorm room kitchen for $16-$20 (and this includes a bottle of wine!)

2 6oz. Filet Mignon Steaks $4.50 Aldis
Sliced Mushrooms $0 .69 Aldis
Lobster Chunks $0 .99 (1.99) Meijer
1 lb. Jumbo Shrimp $5.99 Aldis
Red Pepper Sauce $0 .50 (1.99) Aldis
Chipotle A-1 $0 .40 (2.99) Meijer
Seasonings $0 .05 (3.00) Any Store
- Basil, Garlic & Red Pepper Flakes
Wine $ 2.99 Any Store
Total $16.10 or $8.05 each

Marinate the filets & mushrooms for as little as five minutes to over an hour, but the shrimp and lobster no longer than an hour, so, even if you’re in a hurry, you’ll still get a great flavored dinner. Sprinkle the garlic & steak seasoning, pat the filets good and then slather them with A-1 Chipotle Sauce. For the shrimp & lobster sprinkle with roasted red pepper flakes, salt & pepper and then marinate with Roasted Red Pepper Dressing.
Layer two frying pans with tinfoil, spray with butter spray and set to medium- hot. Heat mushrooms first for about five minutes. Add steak to mushrooms and add seafood in second pan. Flip filets after three to four minutes and keep stirring mushrooms along with the shrimp and lobster for six to eight minutes. Set your filets on the center of the plate, surround with mushrooms and top with lobster pieces. Circle the mushrooms with your Tiger Shrimp and then drizzle extra sauce over center of plate and garnish with fresh basil.
